 Acts 24: (1) And after five days Ananias the high priest descended with the elders, and with a certain orator named Tertullus, who informed the governor against Paul. (2) And when he was called forth, Tertullus began to accuse him, saying, Seeing that by thee we enjoy great quietness, and that very worthy deeds are done unto this nation by thy providence, (3) We accept it always, and in all places, most noble Felix, with all thankfulness. (4) Notwithstanding, that I be not further tedious unto thee, I pray thee that thou wouldst hear us of thy clemency a few words. (5) For we have found this man a pestilent fellow, and a mover if sedition among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes: (6) Who also hath gone about to profane the temple : whom we took, and would have judged according to our law. 💟💟💟🔯🙏

(3) But the people answered, Thou shalt not go forth, for if we flee away, they will not care for us; neither if half of us die, will they care for us: but now thou art worth ten thousand of us:  therefore now it is better that thou succour us out of the city.

Tuesday Dec 15th 2020 ❤Read Judges 19 ❤ The Levite and his concubine ❤ Judges 19: (1) And it came to pass in those days, when there was no king in Israel, that there was a certain Levite sojourning on the side of mount Ephraim, who took to him a concubine out of Bethlehem-Judah. (2) And his concubine played the whore against him, and went away from him unto her father's house to Bethlehem-judah, and was there four whole months. (3) And her husband arose, and went after her, to speak friendly unto her, and to bring her again, having his servant with him, and a couple of asses: and she brought him into her father's house: and when the father of the damsel saw him, he rejoiced to meet him. (4) And his father in law, the damsel's father, retained him; and he abode with him three days: so they did eat and drink, and lodged there.
