33 -  And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother, or my brethren?

34 -  And he looked round about on them which sat about him, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!

35 - For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother. 🔯💜💜💜🙏

Friday February 24th 2023 🔯 Read Matthew 4 🔯 The temptation in the wilderness 🔯 Matthew 4:1- Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

2 - And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.

3 - And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

4 - But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

5 - Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,

6 - And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

7 - Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. 🔯💟💟💟🙏

Thursday February 23rd 2023 🔯 Read Isaiah 30 🔯 Rebellious Judah to be crushed 🔯 Isaiah 30:1 - Woe to the rebellious children, saith the LORD, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a covering, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin:

2 - That walk to go down into Egypt, and have not asked at my mouth; to strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, and to trust in the shadow of Egypt!

3 - Therefore shall the strength of Pharaoh be your shame, and the trust in the shadow of Egypt your confusion.

4 - For his princes were at Zoan, and his ambassadors came to Hanes.

5 - They were all ashamed of a people that could not profit them, nor be an help nor profit, but a shame, and also a reproach.

6 - The burden of the beasts of the south: into the land of trouble and anguish, from whence come the young and old lion, the viper and fiery flying serpent, they will carry their riches upon the shoulders of young asses, and their treasures upon the bunches of camels, to a people that shall not profit them. 

7 - For the Egyptians shall help in vain, and to no purpose: therefore have I cried concerning this, Their strength is to sit still.

8 - Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever: 🔯💜💜💜🙏

10 - He made the pillars thereof of silver, the bottom thereof of gold, the covering of it of purple, the midst thereof being paved with love, for the daughters of Jerusalem.

5 - The fool foldeth his hands together, and eateth his own flesh.

6 - Better is an handful with quietness, than both the hands full with travail and vexation of spirit.

7 - Then I returned, and I saw vanity under the sun.

8 - There is one alone, and there is not a second; yea, he hath neither child nor brother: yet is there no end of all his labour; neither is his eye satisfied with riches; neither saith he, For whom do I labour, and bereave my soul of good? This is also vanity, yea, it is a sore travail.🔯💜💜💜🙏

2 - For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

3 - For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

4 - Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
