Saturday December 17th 🔯 Read Ezekiel 33 🔯 Ezekiel as Israel's watchman 🔯 Ezekiel 33: 1 - Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 2 - Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman: 3 - If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people; 4 - Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. 5 - He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul. 6 - But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand. 🔯💟💟💟🙏

Tuesday December 13th 2022 🔯 Read Jeremiah 29 🔯 A letter to the captives 🔯 Jeremiah 29: 1 - Now these are the words of the letter that Jeremiah the prophet sent from Jerusalem unto the residue of the elders which were carried away captives, and to the priests, and to the prophets, and to all the people whom Nebuchadnezzar had carried away captives from Jerusalem to Babylon; 2 - ( After that Jeconiah the king, and the queen, and the eunuchs, the princes of Judah and Jerusalem, and the carpenters, and the smiths, were departed from Jerusalem; )  3 - By the hand of Elasah the son of Shaphan, and Gemariah the son of Hilkiah, ( whom Zedekiah king of Judah sent unto Babylon to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon ) saying, 4 - Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, unto all that are carried away captives, whom I have caused to be carried away from Jerusalem unto Babylon; 5 - Build ye houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them; 6 - Take ye wives, and beget sons and daughters; and take wives for your sons, and give your daughters to husbands, that they may bear sons and daughters; that ye may be increased there, and not diminished. 7 - And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace. 🔯💟💟💟🙏
